Maryscott (“Scotty”) Greenwood’s experience spans numerous roles, including corporate director, CEO, founder and diplomat. She is the global head of government relations for Manulife. She has served in local and federal government, as well as on corporate and non-profit boards.
An expert in government relations and international trade, Ms. Greenwood has over two decades of designing and implementing successful stakeholder engagement programs for clients across North America. Sectors of focus include energy & power infrastructure, life sciences, and supply chain management. Until recently she was the founding partner of Crestview Strategy US LLC, a government relations consultancy based in Washington, DC.
Ms. Greenwood previously served as the CEO of the Canadian American Business Council, the premier bilateral trade association whose members are Fortune 500 companies from various sectors, including Amazon, BMO, Google, ConocoPhillips, Coca-Cola, CN, Pfizer and TD, to name a few. A former American diplomat to Canada and a frequent media commentator and public speaker, Greenwood is an acclaimed business and public policy advocate, communications expert, and political strategist to Fortune 500 companies, trade associations, governments and nonprofit organizations.
She is also a Board Member of The Foundation for Art & Preservation in Embassies.
